Augustine Consulting, Inc. is a Woman-Owned Small Business professional services provider of engineering and technical services to the United States Government. We seek an experienced, self-starting Financial Analystto serve as a part of the Company’s corporate staff.
TheFinancial Analystwill perform financial tracking, reporting, and presentations of data for all programs and projects within ACI’s portfolio. Thepositionisafull-time,exemptposition reportingtotheDirector of Finance .
Duties And Responsibilities
  • Support the development of annual operating plans and monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets including reoccurring reviews and maintenance in Unanet.
  • Perform financial analysis and reporting for all projects including: Funding status reports, travel spend, subcontractor funds tracking, funding limitations, project financial monthly status reporting, funding requests, and monitor purchase order balances.
  • Maintain accurate projects dashboards.
  • Monitors progress of program requirements. Monitors cost performance against plans to ensure contractual cost obligations are met.
  • Conduct, hiring and salary range support to programs and Human Resources .
  • Develop and track project performance metrics and graphics for internal and external reporting.
  • Perform proposal pricing analysis and reviews.
  • Performother relateddutiesas assigned.

PositionRequirementsDetail-oriented individual with the highest standards of accuracy and ethics. This individual will possess a high degree of personal integrity, good mathematical aptitude with the ability to analyze business issues and possessing the skills to solve problems efficiently. In addition, this individual will interact with people, computers, and business systems in an effective manner.
Required Qualifications
  • BA/BSinAccounting , Finance, Business, or otherrelatedfieldoranequivalentcombinationofeducationand experience.
  • Minimumof1-2yearsoffinancial experience, Government contracting preferred.
  • General knowledgeoffinancialandcost accounting.
  • Experience performing variance analysis and reporting, preferred experience with advanced automations such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of MS excel, with experience with advanced excel functionality.
  • Experience with Unanet or equivalent Financial Management Systems preferred.
  • Eligible to receive a Secret Clearance.

Pay Band Information$80,000 - $105,000
The ACI pay band for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of a specific compensation. Factors that influence the pay offered to a specific candidate for this position include, but are not limited to, federal and state laws; federal government contract labor categories and contract wage rates; relevant prior work experience; a candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors; geographic location; education; and certifications.
