Description
START DATE : late September 2024
A family who splits their time between the Bay Area and Lake Tahoe is seeking an experienced, loving nanny for their infant son who will be 6 months in September.
They are currently living in San Francisco but moving to Ross in January 2025. The nanny will live-out while they are in the Bay Area and live-in when in Lake Tahoe (they typically spend the summers and winters, and visit sporadically throughout the year).
Responsibilities include all child-related care such as tidying, laundry, feeding and preparing solids, planning activities, etc.
Their ideal person is warm, engaging, reliable and seeking a long term commitment. They plan to grow their family so would love for someone to work with them for a few years.
Experience Requirements
2 years minimum experience working as a private nanny with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
Fluency in English
Qualifications
- MUST BE LOCAL AND ALREADY RESIDING IN THE BAY AREA
- COVID-vaccinated
- TB and Tdap vaccine
- CPR Certified
- Valid driver with clean record (family can provide household vehicle for work-related driving)
- Experienced with infants
- Warm
- Calm
- Reliable
- Excellent communication
- Can make a long term commitment, at least a few years
Responsibilities
- Planning age-appropriate activities
- Walks to the park / playground, classes, etc.
- Help baby meet developmental milestones
- Light tidying
- Prepare, wash, sanitize bottles
- Prepare solids, snacks, etc.
- Baby laundry
- Assist with developmental transitions
