Description
A family moving to Mill Valley mid-August is seeking a loving engaging part-time Nanny to care for their infant and help with household tasks.
They have two children (a toddler and newborn) but care is primarily for their 6-month-old. Responsibilities include all baby-related care as well as light household tasks including family laundry, tidying, and meal prep.
If open to cooking simple meals for the family, that would be welcome too! Their ideal candidate is loving and prioritizes their children's safety, is reliable and a good communicator.
Experience Requirements
2 years minimum experience working as a Nanny with excellent references
Educational Requirements
Fluency in English
Qualifications
- COVID-vaccinated boosted
- CPR Certified
- TB and Tdap vaccine
- Valid driver with clean record (family can provide household vehicle for work-related driving)
- Experienced with infants
- Very loving and safe
- Family prefers no screen time
- Good communicator
- Reliable
- Engaging
- Can make a long term commitment, at least a year
Responsibilities
- Engaging with baby in conversation, reading, singing, etc.
- Bottle feeding, infant sleep, etc.
- Help with transitioning to solids; preparing fresh food for baby
- Working on developmental milestones
- Taking baby on walks / to parks
- Prepare, wash, sanitize bottles
- Meal prep for the family
- Cooking for the family (nice to have)
- Light tidying
- Family laundry
- Loading / unloading dishwasher
- Occasional pick-up for their toddler
