Job Summary:
In cooperation with or in the event of the absence of the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager is responsible for the overall supervision and operation of assigned Auntie Anne’s store, with particular emphasis on maintaining Auntie Anne’s Three-Fold Philosophy and achieving the maximum profitability available from store operations.
Responsible for prepping, baking and serving pretzels as well as other products
Working with your supervisor in the recruitment, screening, interviewing, hiring and training of staff.
Perform the training and review the procedures of store personnel
Work with Store Manager to set as well as tack on store goals
Provide feedback to Store Manager of the completion progress of the goals
Assist with weekly scheduling and monitoring in compliance with labor laws.
Audit all paperwork checking for accuracy
Responsible for the staff doing the cash handling policies
Maintain a Managers In-box for placement of all paperwork/invoices
Responsible for assisting the Store Manager with ordering any relevant materials for your store.
Clean equipment and workplace
Encourage positive attitude and motivation with employees
Present all information/changes to employees in a positive manner.
Comply with all Auntie Anne’s and Chestnut Land Company’s policies and procedures, including relevant federal and state regulations.
Qualifications:
Management experience in a retail, restaurant, or other fast-paced environment
A valid driver’s license
Must be able to work all shifts, including weekends and evenings.
