Aura Psychiatry, PLLC is a mental health clinic conveniently located in San Antonio, TX near San Antonio international Airport. We are a growing practice and looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team.

We are looking for someone who can perform psychiatric medication management for children, adolescents, and adult patients, from diverse backgrounds, for in-person and tele-health appointments.

We're looking for a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The right candidate will have strong people skills, as well as a sincere compassion for others in need. The candidate must also be capable of handling stressful situations in a cooperative and professional manner, as well as being able to work flexible hours and maintain strict medical confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to evaluate, identify, diagnose, plan and treat patients with mental and behavioral disorders for ages 6 and up
• Must be able to conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medication, and evaluate treatment results
• Maintains a professional relationship with patients and staff
• Must be ethical, have good communication skills, problem solving, empathy and ability to work with a diverse population
• Must be pleasant, responsive, & willing to collaborate with team
• Must be able to document all patient encounters and diagnostic test results accurately and in a timely manner in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
• Performs other related and/or necessary tasks to achieve clinic goals and objective
• Able to work autonomously with minimal or no supervision.
• Able to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Must be able to commute to office in San Antonio, Texas

Minimum Qualifications (must have):

• Active PMHNP-BC certification
• Active ARNP Texas License
• Active Texas DEA Certification

Experience: At least 6 months of training as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
