- Prepare and maintain dialysis equipment, ensuring proper setup, operation, and cleanliness.
- Monitor patients throughout the dialysis treatment, checking vital signs and ensuring their comfort.
- Administer local anesthetics and insert needles for dialysis access.
- Troubleshoot dialysis machines and respond promptly to alarms or malfunctions.
- Educate patients on dialysis procedures and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Previous dialysis technician experience preferred; on-the-job training provided.
- Certification: Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
