Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Workday Security Expert for a 6 month contract with one of our local clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our Workday system across all regions. This role requires a deep understanding of Workday security configurations, compliance requirements, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Configuration and Management:
• Develop, implement, and maintain Workday HCM and Finance security policies, roles, and permissions.
• Ensure proper segregation of duties and access controls within the Workday system.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure security requirements are met.
• Compliance and Risk Management:
• Monitor and enforce compliance with internal and external security regulations and standards.
• Develop and maintain documentation for security procedures, policies, and controls.
• Assist in the preparation for security audits and respond to audit findings.
• Stay current with Workday updates, security patches, and industry trends.
• User Support and Training:
• Provide guidance and support to Workday users on security-related issues.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users on security best practices and policies.
• Create and maintain user documentation and training materials.
• Incident Response and Management:
• Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches.
• Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to resolve security issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Workday security configuration and management.
• In-depth knowledge of Workday security features, including role-based access control (RBAC), security groups, and domain security policies.
• Strong understanding of compliance standards such as GDPR, SOX, and HIPAA.
• Experience with security auditing and risk management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Workday Pro certification or equivalent is a plus.
