Aurex Group is working with an international oil and gas company looking to hire an experienced physical Crude Trader to join their Houston-based team.

This role reports into the Global Head of Trading and will be part of the export/waterborne trading team.

Overview:

• 10 years of industry experience
• Seeking candidates with a proven track record in waterborne crude trading, risk management and profit generation in the physical oil markets, ideally gained from an oil major, trading house, merchant trader, bank, or similar physical crude trading platform
• Responsible for physical trading and supporting business development, as well as executing hedging strategies and managing price risk
• Collaborate across commercial teams, risk, analytics, operations/scheduling, and liaise with executive management
• Exceptional analytical skills, enabling you to thrive in fast-paced, high intensity trading environment
• Strong organizational capabilities to efficiently tackle challenges and drive success.
