Job Overview:

The Senior Pricing Analyst will be individually responsible for making pricing decisions for New Business Opportunities, ROFR's/Meet the Competition, Short Dates, and One Time Buys.

Responsibilities:

• Will maintain all pricing databases, including, but not limited to existing customer pricing, market pricing, standardized bid levels, floor pricing, pricing tiers, etc.
• Will prepare pricing for customer RFPs to review with the Pricing Committee and develop pricing startegies for new product proposals.
• Provide analysis to management and key functional areas on pricing trends, opportunities, and results based on independent pricing decisions implemented.
• Utilize transactional systems of record whenever possible to ensure validity and reliability of data and analysis.
• Prepare, oversee and Implement WAC optimization strategy (WAC reductions)
• Prepare, oversee and implement pricing increases where required to minimize loss making customer contracts.

Qualifications - Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required; or equivalent direct experience
• Minimum of 2 year's previous contract and/or pricing experience preferred in the generic pharmaceutical sector that may include experience with generic manufacturers, wholesaler, distributors, etc.
• Strong understanding of generic pharmaceutical pricing metrics, customer classes of trade, and a general understanding of wholesale and retail pharmacy business
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to organize large amounts of data, identify trends and provide market intuition
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with diverse groups and areas of expertise
• Ability to work independently, setting goals and driving deliverables
• Must have previous hands-on knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
• Proven experience with ERP platform services such as Oracle or SAP
• Experience w/ analytics and business intelligence tools preferred
