Aurora Mental Health & Recovery is Hiring a Clinical Supervisor - Forensics/Aurora Sustained (43989) Near Aurora, CO

DescriptionAurora Mental Health & Recovery (AMHR) is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee clinical supervision, supervise clinical interventions, provide administrative oversight of staff, and potentially maintain a small clinical caseload. The Clinical Supervisor will also direct and operate a clinical program under the supervision of a Clinical Manager, monitor the quality and productivity of the team, and serve as a liaison to community partners, stakeholders, and families.
Shift: This position offers flexibility with the option to work either 5x8 hour days or 4x10 hour days. The Aurora Sustained program operates from 8am-6pm, with occasional early starts at 7:30am and occasional coverage of the Sunday court shift if the assigned therapist is unavailable.
$5,000 Sign On Bonus Available! *Not eligible for internal employees, and re-hired employees within 90 days from separation.Based on full time (40 hours/week). Prorate if less than 40 hours/week. Paid in two installments: 50% on first paycheck, 50% on paycheck following 6-month anniversary.
About The Team.This Clinical Supervisor position is embedded in the Forensics Continuum, providing treatment to individuals with co-occurring mental illness and/or substance use disorders. The population focus is on individuals involved with the criminal justice system and/or other forms of community supervision (e.g., Department of Human Services). Clinical staff duties include intake and assessments, facilitation of group and individual therapy, development of strength-based treatment plans, crisis intervention/safety planning, and providing progress reports to referring agencies. The Community Transition Counseling Center (CTCC) accepts offender referrals for mental health, substance use disorders, and dual diagnosis from criminal justice sources (i.e., DOC/Parole, Probation, Courts, DHS). These individuals are mandated to treatment.
About You.The ideal candidate is passionate about working with the justice-involved population, enjoys coaching and supervising staff members, strives to improve the system for the clients we serve, and is not afraid to think outside the box.
Essential Functions
  • Supervise components of clinical operations and set program policy and procedures for team.
  • Provide group and individual supervision and case conference meetings on a weekly basis.
  • Build and maintain cohesive, supportive, reflective, respectful relationships among staff.
  • Review all process data with staff and discuss areas for improvement, and respond to clinical areas of need with specific training for staff.

  • Supervise entry of all data by staff and ensure accuracy, and conduct chart reviews.
  • Build relationships and work collaboratively with local non-profit agencies, public social services, and state policy makers to enhance their comprehension and utilization of services.
  • Maintain a small caseload determined by team capacity and need.
  • Support the Program Manager with tasks, as requested
  • Staff member will monitor and coordinate care for assigned clients in partnership with the other members of the clients care team.
QualificationsRequirements:
  • Licensed mental health clinician with Masters or Doctoral degree in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or related field.
  • Knowledge of child, youth, and adult mental health interventions and diagnoses.
  • Minimum of five years experience working psychotherapeutically with clients, along with experience specific to the program being led preferred.
  • Significant experience working in office and community based settings.
  • Knowledge and experience working with diverse cultures and ethnicities.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience conducting supervision with Masters level clinicians preferred.
  • Clinical Licensure required: LP, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Ph.D, Psy.D
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
Required Vaccinations And TB Test.AMHR has prioritized the health and safety of our clients and staff and requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, receive an annual influenza (flu) shot, and receive negative TB test results prior to their first day of hire. Proof of both vaccinations and negative TB test will be required upon your first day of employment. Medical and religious exemptions may be requested for the COVID 19 vaccine, annual flu shot or TB test.
Salary for this role.Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE. Salary is also based on experience and company equity.
  • Licensed Therapist: $71,728.80 - $98,155.20 per year.
  • Licensed Psychologist: $98,155.20 - $117,031.20 per year.
Bilingual Language Differential Pay. *rate depends on language requirements for the position and candidate's fluency.
  • Will receive scheduled earnings on a bi-weekly basis for all hours worked (excluding non-productive hours paid but not worked, e.g., paid time off, holiday, administrative, etc.) in an amount equivalent to 5% of their regular base rate (hourly or salaried), to a maximum amount of $3,000.00 per calendar year. *the annual maximum amount will be prorated based on full time equivalency (FTE).
