Alchemy Global Talent Solutions is proudly partnering with a well-known Moving and Relocation company based near Kent, WA who are seeking a Local Dispatcher to join their expanding team.

The Local Dispatcher is responsible for the dispatch of both trucks and crews locally to fulfil customer requests, making sure that their needs are being met in an efficient and timely manner.

Responsibilities of the Local Dispatcher include, but are not limited to:

• Preparation of all daily schedules.
• Working with work crews, supervisors and quality controllers to ensure that messages, shipment orders and necessary information is relayed effectively.
• Working on both commercial and international shipments.
• Coordinating with and supporting the loaders, packers and drivers for both moves, both local and long distance.
• Work with other agents to produce both SIT and backhaul shipments, building effective working relationships.
• Address problems for services or equipment and answer any queries or requests.
• Make sure that maintenance and safety programmes are being followed.
• Make sure that the crews are being properly monitored to ensure quality, effective service.
• Other ad-hoc duties as required.

Experience and Skills required:

• Prior experience with coordination/dispatching in a moving and relocation company.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A keen eye for detail and strong collaboration skills.
