JD/Description of Role* (RNR)
(Mandatory - Minimum 500 words)

Role: Infrastructure Consultant - Atleast 10 years of experience in Azure Infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipelines. Involved in design and solutioning. Reviews and validations.

Primary (Must have skills)*

Responsibilities:
Proficiency in Azure terraform IaC templates, Azure Identity, Compute, Storage, and Network services, DR, Compliance & Regulation
- Hands-on Experience in deploying Azure Networking solutions like VNet, SubNet, NSG, Firewall, Hub and Spoke etc
- Should be proficient in capacity planning and VM sizing for performance and cost optimization
- Experience in Account and Subscription Management best practices
- Proficient in deploying Azure security solutions using TERRAFROM templates
- Hands-on Experience in creating Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze existing deployed solutions, including Azure compute, storage, and network services
- Deploying Monitoring solutions using Azure Native features and service like Azure Monitoring, Azure Log Analytics Workspace, KUSTO query, Grafana etc
- Utilize available consumption and cost metrics to identify usage patterns
- Strong understanding of cost management principles within the Azure environment
- Based on recommendation to either use lower SKU or a PaaS services, design solution, identify risks and estimate the effort to implement each of the recommendations
- Prepare a summary of recommendations with risk vs effort and suggest recommendation

Experience Range

15 to 18 years

Secondary Skills (Good To have)*

a) Familiarity with equivalent services in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for Azure services
- Good to have experience in deploying Azure Databricks service and cost management techniques.
