PREM CORP is seeking Apprentice Installers to join our Austin Canvas crews! You will assist with the installation and repair of various Architectural Aluminum Products from Extruded Canopies to Awnings (and other decorative products) on both new construction projects and existing buildings.

Responsibilities:

You will be in the shop doing awning fabrication when not out in the field. 

• Assist crews with the installation and repair
• All tools & training furnished
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Learn all methods required to advance from apprentice to experienced Installer & ultimately Crew Lead (if possible)
• Assist in keeping track of all equipment, supplies, and product
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Able to climb ladders, work off of lifts & not scared of heights
• Drive to job sites in company trucks from the shop, on the clock with pay
• Some travel required (per diem provided)

Qualifications:

• Previous experience & familiarity working with hands
• Ability to read a tape measure/
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to work well in teams
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Reliable, and willing to work overtime as required
• Weekly pay
