Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Litigation Attorney located in San Diego, CA. The Associate Litigation Attorney will be responsible for handling day-to-day tasks such as drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, preparing motions, and conducting depositions.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience as a licensed attorney
- Litigation experience that includes skills involving drafting and arguing motions and conducting depositions
- Strong knowledge of California Civil Procedures and legal precedents and procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively, both orally and in writing
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in California
- Prior experience working as a litigation attorney is a must
- Experience in cannabis and land use law would be beneficial, but not required
