We are looking for a Plastic Surgery Clinic Nurse who will be responsible for providing medical care, education and emotional support to patients before and after plastic surgery. The Clinical Nurse will also assist with preparation for and recovery from surgery and will be responsible for compliance with the standards set by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. The ideal candidate will have a compassionate approach to medicine and maintain a positive relationship with the patients and will have excellent communicating skills to ensure accurate information is given to all parties. Please note that this is NOT an OR position.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Pre-Op and Post-Op care for all cosmetic and reconstruction patients.
• Ensure patients and surgeons have everything needed prior to surgery.
• Inform patients about their condition and level of risk.
• Obtain and review required test results prior to surgery.
• Provide emotional support for patients undergoing reconstructive surgery.
• Help maintain an efficient clinic flow.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
