NOTE: The number of positions and grade/subject areas will be will be determined by student enrollment.
Compensation: $20 per hour in accordance with the AEA CBA 
Summer Program Dates: June 3, 2024 - June 28, 2024 (no school on June 19)
Summer Program Times: 7:45 am to 1:30 pm
Training Dates:  May 28, 2024 through May 31, 2024 from 8 am to 3 pm 
Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Perform all duties/responsibilities in accordance with Austintown Local School District Policy and Procedures 
• Follow and execute the Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession 
• Implement a combination of teacher lead instruction utilizing technology-based curriculum 
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Summer School Principal, Building Principal, Director of Curriculum, and/or Superintendent

Requirements: The following are required prior to starting assignment

1. Valid Ohio Teaching License in appropriate teaching area
2. Favorable State and Federal background checks 
3. Official Sealed Transcripts 
4. Negative drug screen result
