The eLearning Development Specialist should possess knowledge in adult learning principles and instructional design, demonstrate a background in delivering content through various channels, and a proven record in creating interactive learning. The primary function of this position is to provide consultation, development, and support of eLearning, instructional design, strategies, assessment, and other business needs. Responsibilities:Coordinate, plan, and develop online learning projects from inception to completion.Consult with Leadership on instructional design and learning objectives.Assist in the development of instructional strategies, course materials, assessment techniques, appropriate integration of instructional technologies, and best practices.Produce learning materials in a variety of formats including audio, video, animation and multimedia to support teaching, learning, and internal communication.Aid stakeholders in technology tools and methods, use of instructional software, and effective uses of multimedia.Research and make recommendations on educational best practices, instructional resources, instructional technologies, and multimedia hardware/software to support organizational objectives.Facilitate curriculum development sessions, document findings, and write reports.Document instructional design processes and create tutorials, as necessary.Design and deliver creative e-learning solutions which meet client requirements based on stated learning objectives and audience profiles, considering budget and time.Create and deliver impactful internal communications using channels such as websites, videos, events, newsletters, social media, presentations, surveys and conferences. Maintain deadlines, files, and records and other duties as assigned.Qualifications:G.E.D. or high school diploma required with 5 years of experience in instructional design and/or eLearningBachelor’s degree in related field a plusExcellent communication, presentation, and team skills3-5 years’ experience using eLearning authoring tools5 years’ experience designing dynamic, learner-based contentExperience curriculum design and development using a variety of authoring tools (Adobe, Articulate, Vyond, etc.)Knowledge of latest theory and practice related to adult learning principles.Business or educational product development and management experience preferred.Demonstrated knowledge of relevant educational content and appropriate methods of delivery of education for adult learners.Previous experience working with a Learning Management System, Tortal LMS experience a plusCollect, compare, sort and prioritize information to be used in the decision-making process.Ability to create and execute product development and delivery strategy.Ability to work under tight deadlines.Explains complex issues, in a way that is easy to understand.
