Autism Center of Nebraska is looking for a Direct Support Professional who is a compassionate, empathetic, and a role model for our individuals to look up to while they strive to meet their goals!

New wage of $15.00 to $16 per hour. Wage is based on experience. PLUS a $500 hiring bonus!

Our Direct Support Professionals (DSP) at ACN work directly with individuals who experience Autism and other Developmental Disabilities.

The DSP is responsible for:

• Teaching a variety of independent living skills such as maintaining the home, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
• Assisting in creating a resume and applying for jobs in the community.
• Working in our Art Gallery
• Participating in community activities of the individuals' choice.
• Documentation, medication administration, and transportation.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 19 years of age
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Must be able to pass APS/CPS, Sex Offender, and Background Check
• Valid driver's license

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
