**Position Overview**

Autodesk is looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our FP&A-AEC team. You will report directly to the Senior Finance Director-AEC and will be a partner to the VP of Building and Infrastructure Design (BID) and their leadership team. The BID team owns product development for many of Autodesks key AEC solutions including Revit, Civil 3D and our portfolio of Water Solutions. In this capacity you will serve as a trusted financial advisor, guiding and providing insights on investments, portfolio analysis and technology decision support, while adhering to your fiduciary duties as a member of the finance organization.

**Responsibilities**

Lead in budgeting, forecasting, closing and reporting of financial performance for the BID organization

Manage operating expenses. Ensure we operate within approved spending levels and drive productivity improvements throughout the organization

Drive ad-hoc financial analyses and models to inform and support recommendations and business cases

Advise business leaders, primarily the VP and their staff, on business and financial decisions

**Minimum Qualifications**

Bachelor's degree (finance, accounting, economics or equivalent preferred)

CPA or MBA is desired but not required

8 years of finance and business partnering experience

Prior experience supporting a software product organization preferred

Capability to work at multiple levels, including high-level strategy and day-to-day details

Demonstrated capability to influence decision making at all levels

Effective & concise communicator

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Experience working in a global and matrixed environment

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Experience using technologies and tools, including dashboards, financial modelling software, and automation tools (e.g. Anaplan, Alteryx, Power BI, Power Query, Qlikview, SAP, Snowflake)

**How Youd Spend Your Day**

Partnering: Youll act as trusted advisor and be embedded in the BID leadership team, providing counsel on where to invest or reallocate resources to achieve intended strategic outcomes

Analyzing business performance: Youll be reviewing the actual results of the business KPIs; analyzing and articulating the financial impact of investments and driving maximized ROI

Problem Solving: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to navigate through systems and people, to drive process improvement and enhanced reporting capabilities

**Salary transparency**

Salary is one part of Autodesks competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $124,700 and $201,740. Offers are based on the candidates experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
