You will be providing high-end automation solutions to all types and sizes of customers. In addition to growing your technical skills, you will also have the opportunity to develop business and project management skills to completely service our customers and business.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering and design of control systems. Installation and commissioning experience is a plus. Project management experience a plus.

Travelling to a customer site is an integral part of the job. Up to 25% can be expected.

Basic skills:

· PLC – be proficient in ladder logic and function block programming

· Drives –create supporting code and configure drives (open and closed loop)

· Servos – configure and program single axis and multi axis servo systems

· HMIs and industrial computers – design architecture and execute basic distributed HMI systems

· Vision systems – programming and implementation.

· Switches – configure switches for standard CPWE configurations

· Industrial networks – understand the fundamentals of Modbus/TCP, ENIP, ProfiBus, ProfiNet, DNet, CNet, and BACnet. Ability to implement when required.

· Industrial and process devices – spec and select the correct components for the application

· Generate a complete documentation package including schematics, layouts, and manuals.
