Overhead Crane Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Overhead Crane Operator for a company based in Huger , S C .
In this role, you will primarily be responsible for efficiently and safely handling materials in the context of shipping, receiving, inventory management, and fulfilling customer orders.
Pay Rate
$2 2 .00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday,
5 00 am to 1 3 0 pm.
1 3 0 pm to 9 30 pm
Overhead Crane Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely and efficiently
- Unload and receive inbound stock shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all necessary paperwork
- Handle materials according to color coding and customer specifications; ability to use measuring devices accurately
- Load outbound shipments onto trucks securely and safely, including chaining and tarping trailers as needed
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics team members to prioritize and fulfill customer orders promptly
Overhead Crane Operator Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience as a crane operator and loader, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting is a plus
- Ability to interpret and complete paperwork accurately
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions
