Automation Technology, LLC is Hiring an Electro Hydraulic Assembler Near Cypress, TX

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Electro-Hydraulic Technician needs to be proficient in reading and understanding wiring, P&ID, and assembly instructions.

  • Must be proficient in wiring electrical equipment including pressure switches, rotary and linear position transducers as well as motors and using best practices for wiring
  • Must be proficient in hydraulic tube bending and assembly, trouble-shooting AC and DC motors with gear pumps, and using accumulators in conjunction with the power unit.
  • Must be able to mount power units and electrical equipment on an enclosure back panel and using best practices to separate motor components from control components.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Detail-oriented: Electro-hydraulic technician must make and keep precise readings and measurements of both mechanical and electrical aspects of assemblies. Electro-hydraulic technician must employ clear, concise, and well-organized writing skills exhibited while note-taking and communicating with team members.
  • Dexterity: Electro-hydraulic technician in particular must be able to use hand tools such as crimping and wire stripping tools for wire terminating, soldering irons for possible wire connections, and hydraulic tube/pipe bending tools for bending hydraulic tubing
  • Interpersonal skills: Electro-hydraulic technician is required to coordinate with team members of other departments by being able to take instructions as well as offer feedback on designs and assembly instructions.
  • Logical-thinking skills: Electro-hydraulic technician must be able to read and follow instructions or a specific set of rules. The technician must be able to troubleshoot components not limited to identifying, diagnosing testing and repairing.
  • Math Skills: Electro-hydraulic technician uses mathematics such as simple arithmetic and algebra for analysis, design, and troubleshooting of their work.
  • Electrical and Mechanical skills: Electro-hydraulic technician must be able to apply the theory and instructions of the engineers such as wiring control panels and motors as well as be able to tube hydraulic tubing from power unit pump to valve manifold and finally to inlet actuator ports. They must be adept at operating general machinery, including drill presses, grinders, and engine lathes for control panel enclosure modification including cable and port hole addition to enclosures.

  • Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
