Established thermal solutions provider to numerous industries is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer. This position is responsible for aspects of machine design and engineering, integration, and testing of combustion-type systems including industrial burners, process heaters, burner fuel trains, burner management systems, steam boilers, controls, and optimization. This company has been in business for over 80 years and has new ownership with growth plans! Qualifications:
- BS Mechanical Engineering from an ABET program
- Five years of work experience demonstrating aspects of machine engineering
- Ability to travel in the USA
- Ability to work onsite full-time
- Preferred Skills: CAD, Drafting, GD&T, PLC Programming, Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test
Responsibilities:
- Provide Engineered Systems, Learning, CAD, Bill of Materials, Drawings, Schematics, Logic Diagrams, PLC Programming, Integration, Testing, and Commissioning Systems
- Travel to interstate locations to perform site or system inspections
- Follow engineering process plans and practices
- Adhere to NFPA, NEC, ISA, ANSI, and other applicable standards
- Root Cause and Corrective Actions
- Follow Company procedures and Employee handbook policies
- Learn and mentor
- Other duties as assigned
Schedule:
This position requires a candidate willing to travel and work independently in the field. Candidate must be flexible and able to work overtime and weekends as necessary. During system commissioning, expect extended multi-night travel - most to CO, TX, and NM.
