At our facility in Aiken, SC, we are looking for a
2nd Shift Material Handler
United States - Aiken
Responsibilities will include:
- Perform necessary pre-operation inspection of Powered Industrial Vehicles in accordance with company policy and other regulatory guidelines
- Perform safe operation of Powered Industrial Vehicles and other material handling equipment including proper use of personal protective equipment
- Able to consistently replenish raw material, containers (empty and finished goods), supplies and other applicable items to an assigned production cell to prevent production interruptions
- Follow work instructions and safety procedures for material handling activities
- Unload and load materials onto or off of pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand. Sort and place materials or items in racks, shelves, or bins
- Able to properly unload scrap hoppers in outside compactors and scrap containers
- Complete paperwork, scanning, and maintain records as directed
- Anticipate placement of material for production at strategic locations
- Understand and utilize FIFO system for production and shipping and receiving purposes
- Work within ISO 14001 and TS16949 guidelines
- Adhere to safety guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to use SAP scan gun to move all materials throughout the Plant

- Prefer at least one year prior PIT (Power-Industrial Truck) experience including sit-down and stand-up lifts
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must have ability to obtain/maintain valid Autoneum certification to operate a Powered Industrial Vehicle
- Prefer prior SAP experience
- Ability to retrieve information via floor support system
- Ability to perform scanning duties
- SAP software
