Senior Unity C# Developer -- US Citizenship required

At Autonodyne we specialize in the command and control of autonomous vehicles. Our software suite sits at the nexus of Human-Machine Interface & Autonomy Behaviors.

We are searching for a Senior Software Engineers who is passionate about unmanned systems. The ideal candidate(s) must be familiar with the Unity game engine and the coding structures used including design patterns, sequencing patterns, decoupling and optimization in C#.

Responsibilities:

· Tech leadership

· Act as a POC for Unity-related questions, providing guidance and mentorship;

· Use agile and scrum methodologies -- C# code, test code, fix bugs, profile, and optimize code;

· Design, develop and maintain command and control station (CCS) for unmanned systems (air, sea, and land)

· Support flight test, as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

· MUST HAVE: US Citizenship is required

· MUST HAVE: Bachelor's degree in computer science/ or related

· 2 years of experience in a Software Engineering or Unity Game Developer role

· Demonstrated fluency and understanding of C# and Unity3D with strong coding standards

· Experience in GIT version-control software

· Ability to work in a team and develop re-usable commented code

· Experience profiling and building for performance

· Demonstrated advanced capabilities with Unity, like extending existing code, complex decision-trees/ state machines, and developing editor tools

· Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance;

Preferred Qualifications:

· Master's degree in computer science/ programming or related field

· 2 years' experience as a Lead or Senior Developer

· Active DoD Secret Clearance

Travel: This position has the potential to travel to customer and non-customer sites principally in North America (up to 20%) but global travel is also possible.

Other Criteria: Strongly prefer those in the Boston/Cambridge metro area but will consider non-local domicile – relocation to Boston area part of compensation package, if necessary.

Security clearance (active or previous) or the ability to be granted one desired.
