PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Human Resources Manager for Autry Technology Center plays a vital role in management all
aspects human resources functions within the school district. This position is responsible for
recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, policy development, and compliance with
state and federal regulations. The HR Manager works closely with the Leadership Team and staff to
support a positive work environment and carryout Autry Technology's mission.
SALARY RANGE: $65,000-$72,000
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
CONTRACT: 12 Month
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage employment and staffing processes. Collaborate with Leadership Team to understand staffing needs and requirements.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Prepare annual contracts, addendums, and extra duty contracts.
- Manage benefit programs and serve as Insurance Coordinator.
- Maintain HRIS systems.
- Support supervisors in conducting performance reviews and identifying development opportunities.
- Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures. Communicate policies to employees and ensure consistent application.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR-related legal requirements and best practices.
- Serve as Section 504/Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act Coordinator for employees, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act Coordinator for employees, Title IX Coordinator, Age Act Coordinator for employees, Grievance Coordinator for employees, and Discrimination/Section 24-157 Coordinator for employees.
- Serve as EEO Investigator.
- Prepare reports for Leadership Team on HR activities and outcomes.
- Collaborate with Leadership Team to develop HR strategies aligned with Autry Tech goals.
- Handle confidential matters with discretion.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Position is based in Enid, OK
- Physical demands include bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, handling, finger dexterity, feeling, hearing, learning, near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, field of vision (naturally or with correction), isolation, good eye-hand coordination.
