Our client a well established and growingglobal freight forwarder has an opening for an Accounts ReceivableClerk to work onsite in their Jamaica NY office.

This individual will be responsible forproviding support to the accounts receivable department andperforms accounts receivablefunctions.

What youll bedoing

• Prepares dailybank deposits; reviews for accuracy.
• Appliespayments to outstanding invoices in a timelymanner.
• Assists with accountsreceivable process through correspondence and collection calls asdirected.
• Prepares customer invoices;reconciles customer accounts.
• Retrieves creditreports and assists with review of customer creditissues.
• Maintains accounts receivablefiles.
• Assists with related special projects asneeded.
• Performs other related duties asassigned bymanagement.

Qualifications :

• Oneyearcertificate from college or technical school six months to one yearrelated experience or equivalent combination of education andexperience.
• 10key bytouch.
• Demonstrated ability to calculatefigures and amounts.
• Proficient onSAP.
• Acute attention todetail.
• Strong organizationalskills.
• Commitment to excellence and highstandards.
• Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills.
• Ability to understand andfollow written and verbalinstructions
• Versatility flexibility and awillingness to work within constantly changing priorities withenthusiasm.

Schedule :

The days / hours are Mon. Fri. 8 : 30 am 5 : 00 pmonsite
