Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will provide excellent service to our customers, assist with sales transactions, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
Duties:
- Greet customers and provide assistance with product inquiries and purchases
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays as needed
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Assist customers with technical inquiries or troubleshooting
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store objectives
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Basic knowledge of Grocery or Gas station stores.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Cash handling experience is an asset
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends
