Company Background: Our client, a major employer in the area, is looking for an Engineer to be part of its team in its North American operations.

Description

• Client's Production Engineering department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Engineer to work in the Battery group. The primary responsibility of this position is to prepare, coordinate battery manufacturing equipment to support new model launches.
• The team frequently interacts with the plant side engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, process inspection and quality teams, as well as the building side construction environmental and facilities department.
• Typical day to day tasks including; managing and updating project schedules, coordinating with machine supervisors, leading the installation and trial activity of new equipment
• Other engineers in the department, project planning groups, general contractors, Japanese machine vendors, environmental, logistics

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Experience installing equipment/construction
• Experience in manufacturing startups
• Excellent and respectful communication skills within their peer group and with all external groups
• A strong technical engineering mindset
