The Lead Applications Developer directs the development team in designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging applications in an Agile Scrum development environment. Additionally, you will be expected to provide feedback and suggestions for process and product improvement, act as a technical mentor and adviser, and ensure effective communication between team members, Product Owners, and other IT functional areas.
The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills both written and verbal. Needs to have experience estimating work and communicating the details in support of that estimate. Good interpersonal skills and must work well within a team environment. Must be a highly motivated individual who strives to stay current in technology, adhere to standards, and focus on strategic direction for the organization. The candidate will be required to provide 24x7 production support for multiple applications.
Skill/Experience/Education:
Mandatory Skills: Strong leadership skills, strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, Java expert, Spring Framework, J2EE, Struts, JSP, JSTL, JavaScript, SOAP, XML, RESTful API development, Agile development methodology.
Desired Skills: Linux, DevOps, GKE, OCP4, Azure, WebLogic.
