Position Summary:

This position will analyze financial information and create management reporting to highlight opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate has financial analysis and project management experience.

Responsibilities:

• Complete month end closing journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting. Areas of focus are inventory, cost of goods sold, freight, expenses, and fixed assets.
• Analyze and report on the costs and variances of production and stock, including bill of materials
• Handling inventory accounting reporting and reconciliations.
• Develop detailed product costs for existing and new products.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement strategies to increase efficiency, identify trends and potential problems
• Perform variance analysis.
• Provide weekly and monthly reporting on production and logistics KPI’s.
• File regulatory reports.
• Participate in other projects as assigned.

 Qualifications and requirements:

• Business or Finance degree required with 2-4 years related work experience.
