Full Time, In-office Position, Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Located close to the Halcyon and Windward Pkwy in Alpharetta, GA Avalon Services Group is a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting for warehouses, distribution centers, and light manufacturers. We specialize in general, technical, and certified labor for manufacturing, production, warehousing, and distribution centers. We are looking for a collaborative and organized Full Cycle Bookkeeper to manage our company's daily accounting transactions. We are currently outsourcing our bookkeeping and looking to establish our internal accounting department. We envision this role evolving into a senior management position with responsibility for overseeing the company's accounting function. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QuickBooks Online or Desktop and a strong grasp of accounting principles. This position will be responsible for ensuring all our financial transactions are properly recorded and will work directly with our external CPA for end-of-year matters. What you will do... Data enter expenses, customer payments, invoices, and other records into QuickBooks Online. Generate weekly and monthly staffing invoices. Reconcile bank and credit card statements. Manage accounts receivable/collections. Prepare and enter weekly payroll journal entries. Process weekly expense reimbursements. Ensure compliance with all accounting and bookkeeping regulations. Identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in financial records. Provide end-of-year documentation to outside CPA.

Must have QuickBooks Online experience (Intermediate Level). Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a PLUS to communicate with Spanish-speaking employees and vendors regarding accounting transactions. Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting. Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles. Highly proficient with accounting software. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
