- Design changes, Design assessment to improve product performance. Support to prototype build & test
- Design, document and build required test fixturing or support components
- Validates design through calculations and functional tests. Develop test plans. Perform & support relevant tests in the lab
- BoM review & updates SAP activities. ECM, MCN process for document revision & update
- Develop 3D components & manufacturing drawing using AutoCAD/ NX/ SolidWorks
- Ensures the compliance with product environments, hazardous area approval standards, safety regulations and product certifications.
- Provides design data to the Sustaining and Technical Regulations and Standards sections to assist in product validation and certifications.
- Conduct cost comparisons and feasibility studies on mechanical components, such as sheet metal, castings, machined components, standoffs, and electromechanical components to help identify potential MCO projects.
