Job Description:

Controls Engineering consists of the development, introduction and application of controls such as electro-mechanical or electric controls to support Company products. It requires knowledge of various related engineering disciplines and their applications. Follow specific instructions of supervisor or senior engineers to perform the less complex professional assignments requiring application of standard engineering principles and practices. Use computers and selected programs for such matters as preparing reports and conducting analyses.

• What are the top 3 hard must have skills required? (These would be non-negotiable and get the candidate an interview)

We will do PLC testing and not a lot of experience is required here. The team will be able to bring the candidate up to speed fairly fast. However, some basic knowledge of controls / PLCs / DCS would be beneficial.

• What is the duration? Any possibility to extend or convert to perm?

The duration depends on the candidate and the project, as well as other factors. Duration could last for as long as 1.5 years. It is possible to make it a permanent position, however the location would likely change in such a case.

• What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the job?

Join a team testing a PLC system that is adapted to a new HMI layer. The team is 5-10 people currently, most of them on site as well.
