Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Wind Turbine Technician at Avangrid Renewables located in Hertford, NC. The Wind Turbine Technician will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to wind turbine maintenance and repairs. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining wind turbines, as well as conducting regular inspections and performing preventive maintenance. The technician will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to safety regulations and maintaining accurate documentation of maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Working at Height and Wind skills
• Experience in Wind Energy and Power Generation
• Troubleshooting skills
• Excellent problem-solving and mechanical skills
• Ability to work in high-altitude and outdoor environments
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
• Experience in electrical and hydraulic systems is a plus
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various sites
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant certifications in wind turbine maintenance and repair
