Site Field Techician- (Nuclear Operations)

IMMEDIATE OPENING

Full-time, hourly, non-exempt. Wage Range: $30/hr.-$40/hr. based on experience and skill level. Paid Time off and rich benefit package.

Normal Shift: Monday – Friday - 7:00 am – 4:00 pm. Traveling to different locations to support our customers will be required, but you will be based in Knoxville, TN. Normally 40% of the job will require travel and could include weekend work. Length of travel varies depending on tasks.

We are recruiting for a Full-Time Site Field Technician interested in joining our team.

Who You Are:

The successful Site Field Techician candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of an all-onsite liquid Radwaste water treatment systems where activities will include the following duties and responsibilities:

A Day in the Life of the Site Field Technician includes:

• Operate and maintain processing equipment at a customer site.
• Support equipment start up and testing.

· Demonstrated ability to work independently.

• Perform other duties as directed.

· Nuclear power plant experience is a plus.

Requirements:

· 1-5 Years- experience in operation of water processing systems.

· Applicants must have the ability to read engineering design drawings, blueprints, and be able to follow design specifications and procedures.

· Practical knowledge of fluid and material handling systems.

· Understanding of basic water chemistry.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Above average computer skill experience with MS Office, especially Excel spreadsheets.

· Must be able to obtain and maintain unescorted access to nuclear facilities.

· Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen as well as random drug screens.

· Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate and work with clients.

All candidates must be able to pass drug test, pre-employment physical, and background investigation.
