AvantGarde, LLC (AG) and global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company are teaming to address various organizational development and workforce issues and projects for a unique federal agency. AG’ s Human Capital / OD Analyst assists AG and McKinsey Consultants in the design, implementation, and evaluation of strategic human capital programs and processes. In addition, the Human Capital Analyst may be involved in one or more of the following: organizational assessments, workforce and workload assessments; competency assessments; talent acquisition strategy and management; communications planning and change management; and succession planning. Work can be performed remotely.

Work can be performed remotely but some minimal travel may be required to local and remote customer sites as project work dictates.

The WORK

• Support Project Manager and project team members in strategic workforce planning to include workforce strategy and planning framework, tools, and processes.
• Participate in evaluations and assessments designed to identify and define issues, review and analyze data, and evaluate/document best practices.
• Schedule and prepare for interviews and focus groups with employees and managers associated with organizational assessments as needed to include developing protocol instruments and capturing results.
• Assist the Project Manager by contributing to the development of project plans, gathering background documentation, and interacting with agency employees and managers.
• Contribute to the team’s project efforts for leadership development, organization assessment, strategy development, team effectiveness, training design and delivery, change management, project management and business process optimization.
• Identify and determine the appropriate data to be analyzed to support the objectives of a project. Conduct data or anecdotal driven analysis and interpretation for the project team.
• Support project team members in creating reporting metrics, dashboards, and analytics to monitor, analyze progress, and effectively deliver assessment and results to organizational leaders.
• Research and report on human capital best practices benchmark studies.
• Support project team members in drafting report chapters and incorporate feedback from the project team and the client.
• Conduct quality assurance review for all final draft documents for grammar and completeness.
• Develop report and presentation templates and prepare presentation materials to include developing presentation content based on senior consultant and/or project manager guidance.
