Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Package Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing packages, ensuring accurate sorting, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role requires strong physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and process incoming packages.
- Load and unload packages from delivery vehicles.
- Inspect packages for damage and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Ensure packages are labeled correctly and routed appropriately.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory management and stock organization.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient package handling operations.
- Support the team with various tasks and special projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Package Handler, Warehouse Associate, or in a similar role.
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications are a plus.
