Location: South San Francisco, CA
Shift: Day
Hourly Rate: $26.44/hr. - $29.80/hr.

- Education: High school diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience) is required
- Experience: 1-2 years equivalent experience in a laboratory setting and understanding of laboratory equipment and/or college degree
- Excellent solid understanding of laboratory operations
- Knowledgeable of biological and/or chemical processes
- Excellent time management, communication, and organization skills
- Knowledge of sterile handling techniques a plus
- Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Teams experience preferred
In this role you will:
- Provide direct benchtop services support at customer facilities under close supervision.
- Execute routine laboratory support procedures and preparations including media and buffer preparation, solvent and reagent mixtures, filtrations, material weighing, and some physical testing.
- Witness experiments conducted by senior staff members.
- Maintain laboratory inventory and labeling, ensuring accurate documentation of chemical reagents, glassware, and gas cylinder levels.
- Verify and perform maintenance on laboratory equipment such as balances, pH meters, sonicators, and glassware washers to uphold operational standards.
