Job Summary:

We are seeking a Certified Public Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing financial statements and general ledger accounts, providing financial advice, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Duties:

• Manage, conduct audits of financial statements from preparation of audit planning, performance of audit field work, conducting of audit reporting through audit completion.
• Perform risk assessments and develop audit plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and train Audit Department staff and monitor staff performance on assigned engagements.
• Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to management and stakeholders.
• Meeting deadlines and proactively sharing engagement accomplishments with Audit Partner.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance with best practices.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• 5 years of recent professional experience managing, conducting, and reporting upon Audits, Reviews and Compilations of Clients operating in various industries.
• Experience in the following industries (non-public insurance, nonprofit, employee benefit plans, commercial) a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to draft, review and/or compile audited, reviewed, and compiled client’s financial statements, footnotes, and supplemental schedules.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• -Experience with Thompson Reuters PPC Guidance / Advanced Flow Audit Software, Suralink Database Management System and various other computer hardware and software applications a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
