This successful commercial law firm based in Raleigh, NC with expertise in civil litigation, business transactions, tax and estate planning, and commercial real estate is looking to hire an experienced Commerical Real Estate Paralegal . RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting with commercial real estate matters
- Preparing and handling closing statements and seller documents
- Title searches, affidavits and reports
- Draft easements, covenants, licenses and commercial leases
- Draft contracts and loan documents
- Assist with proactively identifying issues in property due diligence
- Assist attorneys with structuring transactions to maximize tax efficiencies
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of experience in real estate, commercial real estate is strongly preferred (open to training someone with 1 year of CRE experience)
- Experience with SoftPro is a plus
- Title search, affidavit, reporting experience
- Experience with closing processes
- Ability to work independently
