RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct thorough legal research and case analysis to develop effective defense strategies
- Draft and file legal pleadings, motions, and other court documents
- Conduct witness interviews and depositions
- Participate in pretrial conferences, mediations, and hearings
- Represent clients in court proceedings, presenting compelling arguments and defending their interests
- Maintain strong communication and collaboration with clients, keeping them informed throughout the legal process
- Stay up-to-date on changes in medical malpractice law and best practices
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in defense litigation
- J.D. degree from an accredited law school
- Bar admission in the state of Georgia
- Ability to work independently and manage a complex caseload
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
