Job Descriptions:

· Under the general direction of the supervisor/Owner, the primary responsibilities of the Team Leader are to professionally and courteously greet, direct and assist clients and perform cleaning tasks.

· The cleaning tasks including but not limited to; trash removal, dusting, cleaning, re-stocking supplies for cleaning technicians, bathroom cleaning, kitchen cleaning, sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming and other project and special services duties assigned.

Experience and Education:

· Three-year Team Leader experience with managing employees is a plus.

· A minimum of Two-years cleaning experience is required.

· Three personal and three professional references are required.

· Education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Knowledge of specialty services such as hard floor care, carpet care, and upholstery cleaning is required.

· Understanding of OSHA Safety Requirements, SDS labeling and cleaning chemicals.

Minimum job requirements to be considered:

· Team Leader experience

· Valid driving license

· Cleaning driving records

· Total knowledge of general residential cleaning.

· Total knowledge of project work/special services such as carpet cleaning, carpet spotting, hard floor care and other specialty cleaning packages.

· Total knowledge of identifying surfaces and make recommendations for proper cleaning procedures, systems and equipment.

· Excellent conceptual thinking skills and the ability to identify and analyze complex and sensitive issues, problems, and conflicts and to use independent judgment to make decisions, and to recommend and/or implement solutions.

· Excellent knowledge and understanding of customer service best principles and practices.

· Legally authorized to work in the United States.

· Complete and pass a full background check.

· Must be reliable and committed – take pride in work, complete the tasks, on time and up to our company’s and customers’ standards.

· Communication – Speak, read and write English.

· Complete and pass a drugs and alcohol check.

· You are available to work Monday through Friday during the day, 7:30am to 5:30pm

· Must be able to work approximately 20-40 hours per week.

· Weekends as needed.

· Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position.

· Ability to drive a car with valid, non-expired driving license.

· Reliable method of transportation to and from work.

· Driver license and driving record with no offenses is a must.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

· Physical ability to vacuum, dust, work overhead, and complete all house cleaning tasks in a timely manner.

· Must be able to lift and move objects up to 30 lbs. as necessary.

· Moderate physical activities, which may include pulling, pushing, lifting, reaching, bending and repetitive movements.

· Demonstrate skill and proficiency with cleaning equipment and supplies.

· Use of cleaning products, which require the use of personal protective equipment such as gloves, masks, and eyewear.

· Safety is of the utmost importance. Supervisors/Team Leaders must work in a way that complies with all safety regulations required by Avengers Cleaning Services and OSHA.

· No allergies to chemicals or pets.

Mental Demands:

· The job involves the ability to use independent judgment to make decisions and to recommend and/or implement solutions.

· The ability to listen and communicate clearly and to maintain positive interpersonal and cooperative relationships with staff, clients and management.

· The ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and accurately follow through on work activities with time constraints and interruptions to meet deadlines as well as to work independently with a minimum amount of direction and/or supervision.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for specified locations and cleaning technicians working in those locations.
  • Perform home walk-throughs and quality control inspections.
  • Train cleaning technicians; assist management with organizing work schedule and assigning tasks.
  • Safely drive company’s vehicle and follow all traffic laws.
  • Setting deadlines and ensuring completion.
  • Resolve employee problems or refer matters to manager/owner.
  • Replenish supplies.
  • Clean and maintain storage area and company vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
  • Maintain and repair all equipment and supplies so they are clean and in a safe and operable condition.
  • Reassign workload as needed.
  • Conduct cleaning technicians’ performance reviews.
  • Understand the strategy, vision and expansion model of the organization including a basic understanding of Avengers Cleaning Services’ business; be aware of and help to enforce organizational policies and best practices and procedures.
  • Consistently support the general direction, initiative and specific final decisions of the Management Team in all aspects of the business; use influence sensitively to garner cooperation of management and co-workers.
  • Completing reports: accidents; damage; incident; etc.
  • Fill in for absent employees.

· Greet, direct, and assist persons who enter the home in a polite, respectful and helpful manner to ensure positive relationships. Screen and route requests to appropriate persons; Provide timely and accurate customer service support.

  • Treat information acquired during work confidentially and responsibly.
  • Complete all cleaning work to company’s standards.
  • Empty all trash cans, replace liners, and clean receptacles as needed.
  • Dust horizontal and vertical surfaces throughout the home.
  • Clean kitchen counter tops, sinks, cabinet doors, outsides of appliances.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms including countertops, sinks, tubs, showers, and toilets.
  • Sweep, vacuum, and mop all floor surfaces.
  • Greet homeowners in a polite, respectful, and helpful manner to ensure positive relationships. Screen and route requests to Team Leader, if necessary, provide timely and accurate customer service support.
  • Perform other duties as requested or required by management.
  • Must be able to read and explain SDS (Safety Data Sheet) sheets.
  • Participate in cross-training with other positions both as necessary and as requested by supervisor to ensure that the workflow is uninterrupted during absences from work. This cross-training may involve learning at least one other position; also training at least one other individual to perform Supervisor work functions.
