General Summary of Duties

The Business Analyst performs support duties as directed by the Director of Sales and Marketing and Director of Revenue Management and works with stakeholders to identify goals, develop data collection best practices, and analyze current processes to improve them.

The Business Analyst is responsible for support of sales and revenue reporting as part of the organization's administrative team. Tasks also include but not limited to: maintain and enhance automation efforts in the sales database to increase daily productivity for sales, catering and event management personnel, prepare all monthly sales and catering reports (i.e. individual productivity reports, pace reports, etc.), maintain a weekly forecast for the operations team, analyze the quality of data, and compile power point presentations. In addition, this position is responsible for managing and administrating the database to verify data integrity for accurate reporting, including maintenance of security of confidential material and coordination of input of historical data to assure accuracy.

Examples of Duties (includes but is not limited to the following)

• Maintain quality of data in the sales database
• Pulling sales and revenue reports, extrapolating data and ensuring quality of data provided.
• Provide administrative support to the Director of Sales & Marketing, Associate Director of Sales, and Business Travel Sales Manager
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

Education

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business related major preferred
