Job DescriptionCNC Programmer / Set-upPay Based On ExperienceMonday-Friday 8a-5pDo you enjoy working with highly advanced equipment and can pay great attention to detail? Then we have the job for you! A family-owned business in the Sheldon Iowa area is looking for a full-time CNC programmer and set up person for lathe and mill machines to join their growing team. As a CNC Programmer, you will work independently and alongside the shop manager to analyze drawings/sample parts and create machining programs.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize CNC programs for mills and lathes, based on engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
  • Utilize SolidWorks software to create 3D models and generate tool paths.
  • Set up CNC machines and ensure quality control of parts according to programmed instructions.
  • Maintain documentation of programming changes, tooling requirements, and machine settings.
Requirements
  • Experience with CNC lathes and mills
  • 1 or more years of CNC programming experience
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM software
  • Experience using 3D modeling software (Solidworks preferred)
  • Ability to read blueprints and drawings
