Aventure Staffing and Professional Services is Hiring an E&I Technician Near Storm Lake, IA
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots equipment breakdowns and restores operation.
- Calibrates instruments and conducts routine maintenance and troubleshooting of control systems in both the process and utilities areas.
- Works with maintenance support and stock room personnel to ensure all parts transactions are properly documented.
- Participates as a team member to perform root cause analysis of failures.
- Assists with checkout and startup of new equipment.
- Works with departments on maintenance reliability issues including motors, valves, instruments, controls, controllers, and DCS systems.
- Electrical/instrumentation background, with a minimum of a 2-year technical degree or 5 years of E&I experience in an industrial environment
- Should be qualified to work on all electrical equipment from 24VDC to 600V.
- Must be able to read and understand electrical drawings and instrument indexes.
- Must be able to operate specialized computer interfaces for diagnosis and troubleshooting.
- Experience with industrial process control systems preferred.
- Must be able to climb stairs, perform some lifting, sit or stand for long periods, work at heights, bending, kneeling, and be able to be respirator qualified.
- Must be able to work in all environmental conditions, including temperature extreme.
- Must be willing to work on shifts, on call rotation, or overtime as required.
