About the opportunity:We are looking for a talented and product-minded Software Engineer who can deliver high-performance, scalable, and cost-effective web applications in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely day-to-day with other engineers, users, and business leaders to plan, design, build, and ship high-quality software.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the overall web application architecture
- Design and implement software solutions and architecting inter-service communication and data flows
- Build reusable and customizable libraries/frameworks/tools
- Research and developing new technologies and developing proofs of concept
- Write high-quality code and review the work of your peers
- Use software engineering standard methodologies (CI/CD, unit testing, testing, etc)
- Strong software engineering experience in building web applications
- Deep knowledge of NodeJS, Typescript, and ReactJS
- Experience with relational database systems like PostgreSQL or MySQL and designing database schema
- Experience with deploying containerized services and related infrastructures to cloud computing platforms like AWS or GCP
- Practical understanding of software engineering lifecycle, version control systems, CI/CD practices, test automation, and system migration
- Ability to learn, adapt to new tools and technologies, and work in a cross-functional fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with adopting observability tools such as Prometheus
- Experience with performance testing
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, etc
