Job Summary
The Laboratory Technical Assistant organizes specimen collection requests, performs patient clinical laboratory specimen collection procedures, specimen transport, specimen processing, testing dispersal, point-of-care testing procedures, and other pre-analytic functions following established standards and practices.
Education and / or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months' related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Work Schedule
Varied shifts; 72 hours every 2 weeks
5 : 00 am - 8 : 00 pm
Every 3rd weekend
Every 3rd holiday
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$17.50 - $23.00 per hour
