Job Summary

The Therapy Technician is accountable for preparing patients for treatment and maintains orderliness of department and therapy gym under the direction of the physical and occupational therapist.

Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic and Benedictine heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship.

Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Religious Directives.

Education and/or Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Six months previous work experience in a health care field preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

BLS Certification required.

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, every fifth weekend, occasional holiday; 80 hours every 2 weeks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$17.50 - $23.00 per hour
