Job Summary
Perform admissions assessments, identify the physical and psychosocial needs of the patient. Develops a written plan using the assessment database.
Plan and set priorities in the delivering of nursing care
Evaluate patients symptoms, reaction, and progress. Observe, record, and report them to the physician as appropriate.
Assess, plan and initiate patient education and discharge planning.
Education and/or Experience
Graduate of Registered Nursing Education program.
1-2 years of experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Must have current RN licensure in the state of South Dakota and or meeting criteria.
Current CPR, ACLS, PALS, TCAR, and TNCC certification or completion upon next available program.
Work Schedule
Hours:
Three, 12-hour shifts. 7:00am-7:00pm, 7:00pm-7:00am
Every 3rd weekend/holiday rotation required on Med Surg.
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$31.50 - $46.50 per hour
